Summary

Dermatoses of the tongue are a challenge for clinical diagnostics, since a variety of different disorders may present with similar lesions. In this review we will focus on non-neoplastic, non-infectious disorders. Chronic inflammatory skin diseases, vasculitis, neuro-cutaneous dermatoses, hereditary diseases, and autoimmmune disorders are discussed.
