Summary
The therapeutic results and benefits of vitamin A are vast, well documented and indisputable. Depending on the indication, retinoic acid or retinol may be clinically relevant; to achieve skin health, the three issues concentration of retinoids, delivery mechanism and packaging are important. The topical use of high concentrated retinoids causes anticipated reactions and can be successfully managed to improve patient compliance.
